Julian Leigh's reserve team will compete to retain the Kent Intermediate Cup that they won 12 months ago. Goals from Josh Biddlecombe and Matt Crane sent the Angels through from their semi-final fixture against Margate Reserves.
On a sunny afternoon Tonbridge took the lead on 11 minutes when Biddlecombe turned well on the edge of the box and fired home after a throw from Matt Davies.
Crane then scored what turned out to be the winner on 18 minutes, when he put a looping header out of the reach of the Margate keeper following good work and cross from Jon Heath.
The second half Margate pressed giving the Angels some anxious moments but couldn't beat the Angels defence marshalled well by Mike McKeown, together with Sonny Miles and Lee De Maertelaere.
Micky Collins replaced Biddlecombe on 68 minutes, as he struggled to shake off a knock he received in the first half. Collins earned a yellow card for an inoxious challenge on 75 minutes.
Well done to all the boys who fought hard to earn this justified final appearance against Erith & Belvedere.
