The Angels came back from 0-2 down with ten men and three minutes of normal time to play to win 3-2 in an astonishing comeback against Ashford Town (Middlesex) on Saturday afternoon.
Tonbridge dominated the first half with Tim Olorunda coming closest to finding the net when his header crashed against the crossbar.
Debutant striker Paul Booth could have opened the scoring when good pressure won him the ball from the Ashford centre-half. Closing in on the Ashford area he lashed his powerful strike inches wide of the upright.
The two sides went in at 0-0 despite the Angels having the most of the half. However the game turned on its head in the 51st minute when right-back Phil Starkey lost the ball outside the Angels area to substitute Harris who moved on into the area before firing his shot low across Lee Worgan's goal into the far corner.
Only seven minutes later the away side had doubled their lead from the penalty spot. Olorunda found himself on the wrong side of Harrison and brought the striker down, resulting in the defender receiving his marching orders for being last man, Harrison dispatched the penalty himself into the top corner.
Tonbridge began to come back into the game but despite chance after chance could not find a way past Ross in the Ashford goal. Until the 87th minute when leading scorer Carl Rook looped his header over the Ashford shot stopper to give Angels hope of a repeat comeback to against Staines Town in the midweek game.
The Angels relief came in the 93rd minute when a Storey free kick was flicked on by Lee Minshull to Steve Ferguson sliding in at the back post to fire the ball into the roof of the net, sending the home fans into jubilation.
However the Blues did not stop there, going one better than at Staines, when substitute Fraser Logan powered a 20-yard volley with his weaker right foot into the far top corner of Ross' net.
