Angels draw opening match

The Angels began their Ryman Premier campaign against a unconvincing Wealdstone side, who were playing their first competitive fixture at Grosvenor  Vale. Goalkeeper Lee Worgan, Ade Olorunda and Leon Legge made their debuts in a 4-4-2 formation in which the back four was Phil Starkey, Legge, James Donovan and Simon Glover.

The Angels have ended their pre-season campaign with a victory against a poor Ashford Town side. Leaving the Homelands with a 1-0 victory, in a somewhat unconvincing performance, with the goal coming from fans favourite Luke Piscina mid-way through the second  half.
