Tonbridge Angels Football Club are pleased to announce that their leading goalscorer, Frannie Collin has this evening signed a new contract that keeps him at Longmead until the end of the 2012/13 season.

Chairman, Steve Churcher was delighted with the contract extension "We have received several enquiries from other Clubs regarding Frannie's availability and I am really pleased that Frannie has agreed to stay with the Angels for another season - hopefully, the signing will now put the speculation to rest and we can

continue to plan for next season".

After a long break for both teams the Angels came out on top this afternoon, in a soggy and windy Longmead Stadium.

An uneventful first half was followed by 3 good goals for the Blues. 2 from Frannie Collin, following on from the 4 he scored against Eastbourne, and a penalty from club record-holder, Jon Main.

The 3-0 scoreline wasn't flattering on the Angels, who woke up in the second half, leaving their opponents snoozing back to the halway line 3 times.
