Wink is awarded the Austin Verini

Clubman of the Year selected by the Board
The board of Tonbridge Angels have selected Wink Tomkinson as their recipient of this season's Austin Verini Award that recognises the work of our volunteers.
Chair Sophie Purves, who made the presentation during half-time of Saturday's final game of the season commented: “Wink is a dedicated volunteer who acts as the club’s media officer updating news on a daily basis. He is so deserving of the Austin Verini Award for all the amazing work he does and the many volunteer hours he commits to Tonbridge Angels. He is also a loyal supporter home and away, a former club director, a trustee of our new charity and a genuinely great guy. His humility in all he does epitomises this award.”
Wink added: "I'm absolutely delighted and honoured to be awarded the Austin Verini and to have my name inscribed on the shield alongside many illustrious names is very humbling. Thank-you to the Sophie and her board, I cannot put into words, not good for a media person, just how much this means to me."
