Matt Rush(19) has joined the Angels from Southend Utd for a 4 week loan period and made his debut last night (5th January) in a 1-0 defeat at Dartford.

Matt is a forward who can play as a "9" or "10" with good technical ability.  He has an eye for goal and can score different types of goals.  He shows a good understanding of the game in and out of possession and will work tirelessly to regain the ball for the team.  In possession Matt will make runs away and to the ball to create space for himself and the team.

He has made several appearances for Southend Utd first team in both League 1 and 2.
