Ground : Vauxhall Road
Address : Vauxhall Rd, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4HW
About the ground
There is usually one turnstile open so don't leave it too late to arrive as there is usually a queue leading up to kick off. There is a turnstile on the Tenzing Road side of the ground, however this is very rarely in use and if it is open for a specific game (such as a segregated fixture), the website will feature news of this in the match preview.
Upon entry to the ground, club shop is on the left, burger van on the right, clubhouse/bar further to the right and toilets in the bottom corner. There is a large covered terraces at the top end of the ground, a covered all seater stand running along the opposite side of the pitch to where you enter the ground. Just to the left of the entrance is a very small covered partially seated stand but comfort & view aren't great here. The bottom end of the ground (to the right as you enter) is a newly renovated all seater covered stand behind the goal.
Programme is £2.50 and available inside the ground along with 50/50 raffle tickets.
Parking
There is a small car park at Vauxhall Road. It fills quickly; Vauxhall Road is a busy residential street and like the car park, the whole area fills up quick. Attempts should be made to park away from the area to ease congestion; if you do park locally then please do so with consideration and respect for our residential neighbours.
Contact
If in doubt of a game being on please phone the club on 01442 259777 or check twitter @hemelfc

Getting to the ground from the station:
There is a taxi rank outside the station, and taxi firm (Millenium 24-7) has an office at the ground which will sort you out for the return journey. Alternatively, you can take a couple of buses as follows. On leaving the station cross the road and catch any bus to the Riverside bus station. By Car
M25
Leave at Junction 21 for the M1
M1
Leave at Junction 8, straight over (2nd exit) first roundabout, straight over (2nd exit) second roundabout at which point you need to get in the right hand lane - take first right across the dual carriageway which leads in to Leverstock Green Road. First left at mini-roundabout in to Vauxhall Road, the entrance to the ground is on the right hand side by an out of place looking roundabout.
A41
Leave at Hemel Hempstead, straight over cross roads and head to the "Magic Roundabout". Panic if you're from out of town as you face six mini-roundabouts around one big roundabout. In this order, go right, left, right across the mini roundabouts on to the A414 heading towards the M1 (or, as best as you can, just follow signs for the M1 motorway). Head up the A414 then at the first roundabout (Tesco on right hand side) go straight over or avoid it altogether by staying in left hand slip lane. Second roundabout, straight over (2nd exit), then take Leverstock Green Road which will be the 3rd left. Then take the first left at mini-roundabout in to Vauxhall Road, the entrance to the ground is on the right hand side by an out of place looking roundabout.
Local Shops/Pubs/Restaurants
Cox Pond store is at the junction with Vauxhall Road/Leverstock Green Road. This is a small supermarket/newsagent and does the lottery. DO NOT leave your car parked outside here during the game!
The bar at the Vauxhall Road ground is open match days, the entrance is within the ground so you would have to enter via turnstile to gain entry. Good selection of drinks, the bar is small but comfortable, you'll find somewhere to sit or something to lean on, TV's will be showing live Sports if there is a Football/Rugby game on or Sky Sports News if there's nothing else going on. Kids are welcome.
Petrol Stations
If you're arriving in Hemel via the M1, there is a BP just as you exit the motorway at Hemel and there is a Shell just before the M1 on your way out of Hemel. The above mentioned Tesco also has a petrol station which you'll pass if arriving via A41.
Cash Points
The nearest cash points are situated at the BP, Cox's Pond (charges a fee) and Tesco.
Hotels
The nearest hotel is Travelodge on Maylands Avenue, it's a very short walk to the ground.
Just off the M1 and also within walking distance if you're eager enough, is the Holiday Inn.
