Saturday's (19th October opponents Chelmsford City are in their twelfth season in National League South, and they are deemed by many to be the biggest club in this division never to have played in the National League. They've reached the play-offs seven times in the last eleven years, only once reaching the final, and never winning promotion.
This season, however, they haven't started in play-off form. They're 13th with four wins, four draws and five defeats and sit six points off the play-offs and five points above us.
They've won just one away game this season, that was their last away match, 4-0 at Eastbourne. Their home wins have been against Hampton, Dartford and Bath. They've only taken one other point away from home, but that was at Havant. Their last game was a 3-1 defeat at home to leaders Wealdstone.
Chelmsford's top scorer so far this season is Shaun Jeffers with five. Shaun is in his second spell at the club, signing in the summer from Brackley Town. He's also played in the football league for Coventry City, Peterborough United and Yeovil.
