Saturday 10th October sees the Angels at home in the Vanarama National South when they entertain Berkshire side Hungerford Town.  The Crusaders will probably want to forget the last campaign as they were placed in the very bottom position.  Fortunately for them because the leagues below National South were declared null and void there was no promotion and consequently no relegation for Hungerford.  

That said, Angels Boss Steve McKimm will be taking nothing for granted.  During the close season there were quite a lot of changes in personnel including the manager at Bulpit Lane so they will in a sense be something of an unknown quantity.  Already this season results have been mixed and contrasting.  Last Saturday they went down to a 4-0 defeat at Truro in the FA Cup, but on Tuesday in the league they made up for that with what looked like a fairly comfortable 3-0 win over near neighbours Chippenham Town.

Unfortunately the match will have to be played behind closed doors due to Government restrictions because of the Covid-19 pandemic and supporters should not come to the stadium.  However we will be live streaming the game with commentary from Matt Davison.  As a season curtain raiser we will be offering this completely FREE.  Just go to the Tonbridge Angels YouTube channel at around 2:45/pm and look for the live stream link.
