Car Parking is pretty much non existent at Dulwich Hamlet so the suggestion is go by train.  East Dulwich station is five minutes walk away from Champion Hill and its a straightforward journey using Southeastern from Tonbridge to London Bridge and Southern from London Bridge to East Dulwich.  Journey time is a little over an hour and there are some good fare deals if you book ahead or have a railcard. 

There is likely to be a 3,000+ Bank Holiday crowd so the advice is arrive in plenty of time.
