Spoils shared in Scarborough
The Angels started with Jonny Henly in goal, Fielding, Lyons-Foster, Swift and Hinds at the back. Jordan Higgs, Wagstaff (c) and Gard occupied midfield with Soares-Junior, Tommie Fagg and Nathan Wood ahead of them.
Scarborough took an early lead through Luca Colville, he scored with his left foot after just three minutes having been played through by teammate Alex Purver.
Tonbridge replied with a similar goal on the 24th minute. Lewis Gard playing the through ball this time after a defensive error and Nathan Wood finishing home past Joe Cracknell in the Scarborough net.
15 minutes later and with only six to play in the first half, Scarborough re-established their lead. This time the scorer was Frank Mulhern, who'll want to watch it back as it was an eye-catching volley from outside the box.
At the end of the half it was Scarborough 2, Tonbridge Angels 1.
Tonbridge came out the blocks in the early stages of the second half but they took until the 75th minute to equalise. Tommie Fagg continued his pre-season form scoring another header at the back post and it was no surprise that Ruben Soares-Junior was the player who had crossed it in having driven down the right wing in the build up.
Despite close moments for both teams towards the end of the game, neither team could capture the win and the pre-season spoils were shared.
