A few weeks ago, we were approached by Nicky Dunmal from The Oaks Specialist College, Cage Green Road, Tonbridge.

They had just competed in a mini tournament with the students from Upz and Downs at Longmead.

Nicky kindly offered the services of her students to volunteer odd jobs around the stadium.

So for the last few Thursday mornings, come rain or shine, her group have helped clear the massive amount of leaves dropping onto the pitch and surrounds here at Longmead.

It has been a massive help to the club and we are hugely indebted to them. The West Stand has never been so tidy.

The students get a great sense of satisfaction from the work and the club get the benefit of their labours around the ground.

We look forward to a lasting partnership with them.
