A Message from our Chairman

A reflection on Saturday
Message from the Chairman
Dear all
The FA Cup has brought the club a new lease of life, if we look back to the earlier part of the year and remember the incessant rain and the struggle to get games played, which put the future of the club at risk, to the euphoria and dreams of 7 November 2020.
Yes, it was not to be, but everyone involved with the club in any way whatsoever needs to be so proud of what the club has achieved and I thank you all. It has not been easy but to be able to host an EFL club with live TV coverage together with all the media attention without a hitch is a massive compliment to all involved. The biggest disappointment was no crowd to provide that much needed boost to the players. Our opposition paid us the compliment of fielding their strongest possible side and there was no doubt that they wanted to win as badly as we did.
There was no disgrace and there is now our league campaign to concentrate on.
Many thanks to everyone associated with Bradford and their football club for making this such a memorable occasion for Tonbridge Angels and I hope that the clubs in some way can continue an association and keep in touch and all the best for the rest of the season and into the future.
Many thanks for supporting the club.
Dave
