Tonbridge Angels welcome Taunton Town to the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium in tomorrow's (4th March) National South fixture knowing that a win over the West Country side, and anything less than maximum points for Chelmsford City (away at Eastbourne Borough), will place them into the play off zone at least over the weekend.  There is of course a long way to go in the league campaign but Manager Jay Saunders' side are starting to be noticed by other clubs around them with the Angels standing in 4th position in the form guide (last six games) certainly a statement of intent.  

Taunton arrive at Longmead standing in 17th position in the league and while that may be a little too near the drop zone for comfort, the Peacocks do have a number of games in hand over their rivals following problems with their grass pitch earlier in the season.  Managers will always say they would rather have the points in the bag rather than the challenge of end of season fixture congestion; our visitors will be determined to begin to ease their concerns by avoiding defeat and it will in all probability not be easy for the home side, but the Angels should be in confident mood following two successive wins away from home. 

Please come along and see whether by 5 o' clock tomorrow we have breached that play off zone.  Angels need that support from the crowd - it really does make a difference!
