Angels in charge to earn first home win of season
Three points are well deserved
Angels played to a high tempo early on and scored the opener in the 20th minute. Craig Braham-Barrett collected the ball on the left wing, crossing the ball to Doug Loft who jumped highest to head the ball into the bottom right corner.
Dorking replied in the 35th minute as a freekick was not dealt with in the Angels box. The ball flew around on the line before falling to Callum Kealy who smashed the ball into the net.
Angels increased the pressure and regained the lead from a corner following clever play from Jerry O’Sullivan and Tommy Wood. Loft sent in the corner and Tom Parkinson rose the highest at the back-post. His looping header nestled into the top corner in the 42nd minute.
Tonbridge scored their third in the 48th minute as a simple cross from Loft should have been easily collected by Slavomir Huk. The keeper fumbled the ball with Ibrahim Olutade on hand to tap the ball in at close range to secure three points.
