Tonbridge Angels is delighted to be a part of The National Lottery Football Weekends, where over 100,000 people across the UK will get the chance to go and watch their local football club for free in a celebration of non-league football. 

Angels fans know full well how damaging the pandemic has been to clubs like ours. At the height of the pandemic where there was no gate revenue, and an unprecedented halt in the football calendar, there were serious fears about the future of our beloved club. 

Stepping in to ensure the survival of clubs that are vital to their local community, in October 2020 the National Lottery provided over £12.5 million to support non-league clubs in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and has also supported grassroots and community football with £200 million in funding since 1995. 

Tonbridge Angels is pleased to announce that our fixture in Vanarama National South when we entertain Welling United on 2nd April (KO 3:00pm) will be the date for our own National Lottery Football Weekend.

National Lottery football weekends are essentially a “buy one, get one free” ticket offer for anyone who buys an adult ticket for the match, with free tickets limited to two tickets per person. This will enable supporters to bring a family member, friend or work colleague along to an Angels home game at no additional cost.

How to claim your free ticket:

When you purchase your online match day ticket, you’ll be offered one free ticket per ticket purchased, up to a maximum of two tickets. You pay for your ticket as normal and this will be emailed or sent to your mobile phone along with your free ticket.  You must claim your free match ticket(s)  by 1:00pm on Saturday 2nd April. 

A valid National Lottery ticket number for the draw on Saturday 2nd April or scratch card number (not your draw numbers) will be needed to complete your free ticket claim.

Tonbridge Angels season ticket holders will be emailed a “Promo Code” which can be entered into the event ticket buying page to claim your free ticket.

Official Terms and Conditions of National Lottery Football Weekends

1. Terms and Conditions apply to the National Football League National Lottery Football Weekends offer where National Lottery players will, subject to these Terms and Conditions, receive one free match ticket to a selected football match when one full price adult match ticket to the same match is purchased.

2. This offer is open to every paying adult (being a person aged 18 or over) who presents a valid legible National Lottery ticket upon purchase of a full price match ticket to a game (as set out in these Terms and Conditions). If a person satisfies the conditions in this clause 2, they will be able to bring one guest (adult, child or concession) to the match they have purchased a full price ticket for with them for free (the “Offer”).

3. The Offer applies to selected games in the Vanarama National League, Vanarama National League North and Vanarama National League South on the following dates:

Saturday 26 March 2022
Saturday 2 April 2022
Tuesday 5 April 2022
Saturday 9 April 2022
 Saturday 23 April 2022

(Participation may vary on these dates)

4. As at the date of these Terms and Conditions, there will be 1500 free tickets available at the agreed home game of each participating club.

5. Tickets will be limited and are subject to availability, and will be sold on a first come first served basis.

6. Each person will be able to buy up to two full price adult tickets to one match of a participating club and will therefore be able to bring up to two guests (adult, child or concession) for free.

7. All National Lottery products qualify, whether a National Lottery draw-based game e.g. Lotto, EuroMillions or Set For Life, or a scratch card or online instant win game, whether purchased in store, on The National Lottery website, or via The National Lottery app.

8. A valid National Lottery product must be shown when purchasing the full price match ticket in order to redeem the Offer. It can be shown in physical form or, for online draw-based games or instant win games, in digital form e.g. proof of purchase via your National Lottery account on your mobile phone. Photos of, or copies of, National Lottery products will not be accepted.

9. Subject to the requirements set out in clause 2, The National Lottery product used to redeem the Offer can be from any date. There are no time restrictions on how old the National Lottery product is so long as the person presenting the product is 18+.

10. The Offer applies to season ticket holders and non season ticket holders of each club, in that they can bring another along for free if they are in possession of a National Lottery product.

11. The Offer is available on accessible tickets too, whether these tickets are paid for or redeemed for free as part of the Offer.

12. Attendees are subject to any terms and conditions and health and safety requirements of each club. Please see individual club procedures and/or policies for conditions of entry.

13. All matches are subject to the COVID protocols in place at each individual club on the day of the match.
