Five days ago Angels Investors were sent a newsletter to bring them up to date with all that's happening at the club.   Here are some of the key elements of that piece of communication.  

The Board recognises that a number of owners, investors and supporters were perplexed and confused as to why there was a change of 1st team manager following the penultimate match of the season.  Commercial Director Sophie Purves explains some of the background to the change on Bobby Stewart's recent podcast Fly Like An Angel.   Simply click here to listen.  

Pete Elves has been appointed Stadium Manager for which wholehearted congratulations.  Please see the full story by clicking here.   He of course joins the other full time Angels appointees, Ross Bennett, Commercial Manager, Sarah Parks, Events and Hospitality Manager, and Jay Saunders, 1st Team Manager. 

Good progress continues to be made with the installation of the 3G pitch after 6 weeks work. The project has now moved to the building phase and all being well the pitch will be complete in time to have a home pre-season friendly.  There is apparently a delay on the floodlight fittings but the Board are keeping a very close watch on progress and necessary action will be taken if required.   You can keep up to date on progress by going to the Angels official Facebook page where there is a weekly update. The Board tells us that there has been an increase in the playing budget and at the same time Jay is busy completing his squad with more news to follow.  Pre-season training starts at the end of this month with an attractive series of pre-season friendlies to follow.  We hope you all know by now where Farsley Celtic is!
