Angels supporting bereaved parents charities
Forever Finley and Sands UK to stage matches at Longmead
Tonbridge Angels has entered into a partnership with two charities that provide vital work in supporting parents who have suffered the trauma of baby loss or stillbirths.
Forever Finley is a non-profit charity and provides 3D hand and feet castings to bereaved parents in and around the South East Of England. It casts angel babies from 23 weeks gestation onwards and can help make the most precious memories for families.
Sands UK was founded by bereaved parents in 1978 who found that there was no access to support following the deaths of their babies. Since then Sands has grown, but parents who have experienced baby death are still at the core of everything they do.
Both charities run their own football teams to allow those parents who are in need of support to integrate and socialise and Tonbridge Angels is delighted to announce that the club will host their matches at The Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium. The two charities will also be supporting parents with social events at the Angels Marquee.
