Angels Supporting Foodbanks

Angels supporting Food Banks February 2023

Urgent Request! Please donate to SUSTAIN via our Collection Point.

In August 2021 in support of SUSTAIN which is a foodbank run by our good friends at Tonbridge Baptist Church, we provided a special collection point for the donation of tinned foodstuff at Longmead.

The foodbank is still very much in operation and indeed needs to be as the Cost of Living Crisis has not gone away but if anything has got worse - a sad reflection of our times.

With the various changes we have seen at our Stadium over the last year we need to both re-launch and re-kindle our efforts in collecting food for the desperately needy of Tonbridge.

Please, if you can bring a couple of tins or more to help SUSTAIN in its fantastic work that would be great.  The donation point is now situated to the right  of the programme hut at Longmead just after you enter the ground and you can leave items at every 1st team home game including of course this Saturday's match against Taunton Town.

As a community based club it's only right that Angels try to help in this endeavour so anything you can spare to top up the foodbank will be very welcome.  Here below is a list of the most appropriate things to donate. .
