**Update issued 2nd September regarding Devante**

The match on Bank Holiday Monday between between Tonbridge Angels and St Albans City was abandoned on 86 minutes.

Everyone at Tonbridge Angels continues to wish St Albans City's Devante Stanley all the very best following his injury during the game. 

The Manager of St Albans City, Ian Allinson tweeted at the time: 

“Everyone at SACFC would like to thank the management team, players and medical staff at @tonbridgeangels for the way they handled the difficult situation this afternoon.”

Here is an update regarding Devante which has been published today (2nd September) on the St Albans City website:-

Devante is currently still under the care of Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

We can confirm he has sustained breaks to both the tibia and fibula in his left leg.

Devante has already undergone multiple surgeries on the damage, and we await further updates on the success of these procedures.

At this time, we cannot make any assessment in terms of the recovery timeline.

We are passing on all your best wishes to Devante, and he would like to thank you all for your continuing support.

We would also like to thank the owners, staff, and players of Tonbridge Angels, who have remained in touch with both us at the club, and Devante personally, to wish him well.

We are all with you D, as you embark on the road to recovery.
