Another ‘Wood’ beats a path to Longmead
Young Shrimper is part of Angels squad for one month
Winger, Jack Wood is joining Tonbridge Angels from National League Southend United on a one month’s loan deal.
The 19 year old signed a two and a half year contract with his parent club in January having moved from Southern League Premier Central, Kings Langley.
The attacking midfielder who is capable of playing centrally as well as on either wing is well thought of by Southend Boss Kevin Maher with Jack originally spotted through the Shrimper’s scouting system.
Angels Boss, Jay Saunders said today: “We needed to bring in a wide left sided player while missing Ruben through injury and Joe Turner’s upcoming operation. Jack will be a good addition to the squad. I would like to thank everyone at Southend for their co operation in allowing the deal to go through.”
