Awards Night brings special moments

All the winners on the night!

A splendid night in the Marquee was enjoyed by around 150 people as the successes of the club’s teams were celebrated alongside a special moment in which the life of Devonte Aransibia was remembered, and will be forever, with the Devonte Aransibia Award.

Devonte’s parents and partner were in the audience for the evening, brilliantly hosted by Matt Davison, and presented the inaugural award to a young person that has gone the extra mile for the club during the season. Ady Jolliffe was the young man whose name will be the first inscribed in the award's roll of honour. Ady is an Academy scholar, who was later to also pick up a players’ award, but took this award for his service as kit man, starting the season as Larry Hays' assistant, but when Larry unfortunately had to step down, Ady took on the role as the main man.
