Club appoint a new Club Secretary

Phill Allcorn

Phill Allcorn takes on the role

Tonbridge Angels are pleased to announce the appointment of Phill Allcorn as Club Secretary.

Phill hasn't had to travel too far to join us, in fact, just down the A26 arriving from Tunbridge Wells FC!

Phill has been the club secretary at ‘The Wells’ since the summer of 2009 with his highlight coming back in 2013 with the FA Vase final at Wembley Stadium (which he still talks about a lot!).

Growing up in Tunbridge Wells and then having lived there ever since, he is well aware of all things Tonbridge and the stature of our club, as well as quite a bit of our history. In fact, his uncle played for us some 60 odd years ago!

Giving his thoughts on joining The Angels: “I'm genuinely so excited to join a club of this size and work alongside a strong and professional group of individuals who are already at the club. Tonbridge is a real football town with good football people and an excellent fan base, growing over recent times. I'm fully aware that it's a huge pair of shoes to fill with Charlie's departure after so many years, who should be regarded as a true club legend. Looking forward to meeting you all over time.

Chair, Sophie Purves added: “We are delighted to welcome Phill to Tonbridge Angels. He has a great reputation in football locally and I’m sure he will be a real asset to the club.”

All at Tonbridge Angels wish Phill every success and enjoyment at the club.
