Crossley wings in!
Defender moves to Longmead from Welling United
Tonbridge Angels are delighted to welcome to the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium, Crossley Lema, a 25 year-old defender, who joins us having spent last season at Welling United.
Jay Saunders said of his signing: “Crossley is strong, quick and a good athlete. He’s a right back and a good replacement for Jamie Fielding. Crossley is also versatile and can play other positions. He’s got a great attitude and we are pleased he is joining us.”
Crossley was a youth team product of Sutton United, with loans at Leatherhead and Walton Casuals before signing permanently for the former in 2020. A year later, he moved up into the Isthmian Premier with Margate before signing for Cashalton Athletic, where he was player of the year for 2022/23.
This brought him to the attention of our National League South counterparts Welling United, for whom he made 40 appearances last season.
Welcome to the Angels Crossley, we hope you have a long and successful stay at the club.
