Dagger arrives on loan

Jason Adigun

Midfielder Adigun here until January

Tonbridge Angels are pleased to confirm the loan signing of attacking midfielder, Jason Adigun from National League Dagenham and Redbridge. Jason will remain at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium initially until January.

Jason, 20 years old, came through the ranks at Charlton Athletic, whilst not making a first team appearance, he was an important part in their successful Under-18 and Under-21 sides.

Last season, he had a two month loan spell at Welling United, actually scoring against the Angels in the 2-2 draw at Park View Road in February. Jason went on to make 17 appearances for the Wings scoring twice and adding eight assists.

On his release from the Valley at the end of last season, he joined Dagenham on a two year contract.

Jay Saunders said of his signing: “We are delighted to get Jason over the line, he is someone we tried to get last year but the timings didn’t quite work out. He’s a player that, I feel, will really add to what we have got and to the good start that we have made. We are really looking forward to working with him and we thank Dagenham for allowing us to bring him in.”

The loan transfer paperwork unfortunately didn’t go through in time for Jason to be available for selection for tomorrow.

All at Tonbridge Angels warmly welcome Jason and hope he has an enjoyable spell at our club.
