AFC Wimbledon defender, Luke Jenkins (19) has joined Tonbridge Angels on a one month loan deal subject to completion of paperwork.   

The central defender has already played in two EFL Trophy ties for the Plough Lane outfit having been awarded a 1st team contract during the summer.  Described by Dons Manager, Mark Robinson as “a bright prospect for us”, Luke will provide Angels Boss, Steve McKimm with improved options for his defensive line up as the club moves into the busy Christmas/New Year schedule. 

Said McKimm today: “I need to be able to adjust things quickly and ensure we are always in a position to put out the strongest squad available.  Luke’s arrival will help me to do this and I welcome him to Longmead.”  

Luke will be available for this Saturdays (December 18th) home FA Trophy 3rd round tie against National League Torquay United (KO 3:00pm).
