Many supporters will know Bernard Chick and his son Rob who rarely miss a game home or away.  Outside of football Bernard runs a company called  UpzandDownz that trains and prepares young adults with disabilities for opportunities in the workplace. 

Bernard is currently driving forward a scheme to develop the so called Compound Area behind the existing club shop at The Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium.  

The proposed new building would contain workshops, a cafe, a club Shop and offices for Angels secretary and manager.  

In advance of a formal planning application there needs to be a public consultation which is to be held on Friday 17th January at The Longmead Lounge between 5:30 and 8:30pm.  Architects plans and artists impressions will be available for viewing and Bernard will be in attendance to answer questions and explain the scheme in more detail. 

Supporters, local residents and anyone with an interest in this proposal are all welcome to attend.  The Bar will be open.
