Fleet-footed Nathan signs in

Ebbsfleet forward signs on loan

Tonbridge Angels are delighted to confirm the one month loan signing of Nathan Odokonyero, a 21 year-old striker from Ebbsfleet United.

Nathan, a product of Lincoln City’s Academy, spent seven years as a youth at Chelsea, followed by a spell at Brighton.

His transition from youth to senior football came via Bognor Regis Town where, as a 17 year-old, he scored 11 times in his first season. He followed this with 25 goals in the Isthmian Premier which attracted the attention of clubs from higher steps, choosing Ebbsfleet, for whom he signed for an undisclosed fee in the summer.

At Stonebridge Road he has had six starts in 19 appearances, scoring three times.

Jay Saunders said if his new recruit: “Nathan is someone I watched a lot when he was at Bognor. He has natural goal scoring ability and provides us with a different option in the forward areas. I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Nathan added: “I’m excited to be coming to Tonbridge Angels and hope I can score goals to help the team’s push to the play offs.”

Tonbridge Angels would like to thank Dennis Kutrieb and Ebbsfleet United for facilitating the loan.
