Hadlow Group to step down as Angels shirt sponsor
Hadlow College is stepping down as main sponsor of Tonbridge Angels FC after 10 years successful partnership for both college and club at the conclusion of this most exciting of seasons in which the Angels which have been promoted to the National South League, the second tier of the semi-professional game.
Supporting the club through the good times - a promotion to Conference South - and perhaps more crucially the not so good times - a relegation back to the Isthmian League - the decade long Sponsorship is a record term in the history of the Angels.
Chairman of Tonbridge Angels , Dave Netherstreet said today: “It will take some getting used to not seeing Hadlow College/West Kent College on our shirts as the players take to the field. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the College not only for the sponsorship itself but also all the support they have given us in other areas over the years such as events which are so important to the club. Hopefully there will be some initiatives in which we can continue to work together.”
The club will now be actively looking for sponsors to replace the College and should anyone be interested in such a partnership they are asked to contact any of the directors at Tonbridge Angels or e-mail angelssponsorship@gmail.com.
