Havant midfielder joins the Angels

Ansu Janneh signs on at Longmead
Tonbridge Angels are pleased to confirm the signing of Ansu Janneh from Havant and Waterlooville.
Ansu, a 24 year-old midfielder, 6’3” tall, describes himself as a box-to-box runner who uses his height and physique to good effect.
After spending his early senior career at Staines Town, Lancing and Walton Casuals, he earned a contract at Dagenham and Redbridge in March 2022 after impressing during a trial spell. Towards the end of season 2022/23 he had a loan spell at our National League South compatriots Braintree Town where he scored a couple of times in nine appearances.
He joined up with Havant at the beginning of this season. Ansu was at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium on Saturday where he had the opportunity to meet up with his new team mates and supporters and is available for selection at tomorrow evening’s National League South fixture at Farnborough Town.
Jay Saunders said of his acquisition: “We welcome Ansu to the club. He is a very good player who can add height and a different option to our midfield. He’s a player we were interested in signing in the summer, so we are very pleased he has now joined Tonbridge Angels for the rest of the campaign.”
