Pitch Works - Week 14. The pitch is finished and it's a thing of beauty! 

This week has been taken up with spreading the kiln dried sand and on top of that, a layer of rubber crumb. The new goals have been delivered and perimeter works are largely complete. The pitch will be tested tomorrow (5th August) to ensure it meets FIFA Quality Pro standards and the official handover from Slatters & Co to the club is planned for 2.30pm tomorrow. The final task is to install the floodlights, which takes place on Monday & Tuesday 8th & 9th August.  Report from Ownership Secretary Ian Clear

Arguably, the biggest development at Longmead since the construction of the North and South stands behind the goals; huge congratulations to our contractors, Slatters & Co who have performed brilliantly in testing climatic conditions.
