Jack Wood is an Angel for two more months

Southend United agree to extension to the end of February
Jack Wood is to remain an Angels player for a further two months following agreement with his parent club Southend United. With one goal and one assist in three appearances since coming to Longmead he has impressed both Angels Boss Jay Saunders, his coaches and supporters alike.
Said Saunders today: "I'm delighted we have Jack available for another two months. He has impressed us with his work rate and ability, and I would like to thank all at Southend United for their co-operation regarding this further loan period."
The 19 year old signed a two and a half year contract with the Roots Hall club in January having moved from Southern League Premier Central, Kings Langley.
The attacking midfielder who is capable of playing centrally as well as on either wing is well thought of by Southend Boss Kevin Maher with Jack originally spotted through the Shrimper’s scouting system.
