Jay publishes list of Angels released players
Seven will be leaving Longmead
The newly installed manager of Tonbridge Angels, Jay Saunders, is wasting no time in beginning to formulate a 1st team squad for the season ahead.
Of course, the most difficult task is releasing those players who he feels don’t fit into his plans but it is a necessary part of the job. This despite the fact that all of them have given loyal service and contributed significantly to the recent successes of the club.
The following players will be leaving Longmead:-
Tom Beere
Adam Coombes
Jake Embery
Ibrahim Olutade
Jerry O’Sullivan
Teddy Perkins
Aaron Smith-Joseph
The club wishes to place on record their huge contribution to the 1st team and would like to wish them all the very best in their future footballing careers.
Jay Saunders said today: “It's always the most difficult part of a manager’s role in telling players they do not feature in future plans. There’s never an easy way to do it but I have to say whilst disappointed they have all accepted and understood the situation. I wish them all the very best in the future.
Jay will be having discussions with the remainder of the squad and further news will be forthcoming as the days and weeks progress.
