Jay's Friday Briefing
He looks ahead to tomorrow's home game against Chippenham Town
Jay Saunders looks likely to go into the Chippenham match on Saturday with a similar squad as the game looks to have come too early for some of our injured players.
Jay explained: "Jamie Fielding's having a scan tomorrow on his ankle because he's still feeling discomfort, so we need to check there's nothing serious that's making it worse, Ben Swift has had an injection and he's feeling better already so hopefully he's got an outside chance for next Saturday. Tom Parkinson has trained in the last few sessions but fitness wise he's a bit off so he's possibly got a chance of being involved next Saturday, and James Taylor also needs to have a scan after he went over on his ankle, it's still bruised and he's in pain.
"It's Jaden Crowhurst's final game of his loan from Southend tomorrow so we'll speak after that about whether we want to extend it.
"We've got a couple of deals in place with a couple of players which probably won't go through for Saturday but are possibles for Tuesday or the following Saturday."

Chippenham come to Longmead in 15th place but just two points behind us with a game in hand, and they're a team Jay Saunders is impressed with.
He said: "I haven't faced them much before but I've watched a few of their games this season. They try and play well, they had a good season last year, they got through against Hendon in the FA Cup so they're on a good run. We've got to be at our best to get a positive result, we're on a good run at home so hopefully we can extend that."
