Angels Academy product, Joe Tyrie, has put pen to paper signing 1st team forms for the 2022/23 campaign.   

The centre back made three 1st team appearances last season having been drafted into the senior squad by then manager Steve McKimm after impressing in youth football and he clearly continued to impress in the higher levels of the game to the extent that current Angels Boss Jay Saunders sees his potential in National South competition.

Said Saunders today: "I watched him play at the end of last season and very much liked what I saw.  He is having an excellent pre-season and is clearly benefitting from working with three experienced centre backs, Sonny, Parky and Swifty and I believe he can push on from there."
