Tonbridge Angels can confirm the departure of Liam Vincent, who will be joining National League Sutton United for the upcoming season.

The Angels first welcomed Liam to the club in January 2024 on a month’s loan from Portsmouth, which was later extended for the rest of season 2023/24. On his release from Pompey at the end of that season, he signed on a permanent basis for 2024/25.

Liam’s attacking qualities as a left-sided wing back made him a firm fans’ favourite and brought him 10 goals from 45 appearances last season bringing him a total of 61 appearances for the club.

As Liam is under the age of 24, the club will be due a compensation payment from Sutton United.
