Logan's Run to the Angels
Talented Gills youngster joins on loan
Tonbridge Angels are pleased to confirm the loan signing, through to January, of Logan Dobbs, a 19 year-old defender from Gillingham.
Logan spent two years at Ipswich Town before moving to Gillingham in July 2023. He has made two EFL Cup appearances for the senior team this season, scoring against Fulham Under-23’s.
He has had loan spells away from Priestfield Stadium at Burgess Hill Town, where he played every minute of last season’s play-off campaign and, most recently, at Welling United, where he has made 12 appearances, scoring three times including a dramatic injury time equaliser to earn a FA Cup replay against Slough Town.
Alan Dunne welcomed the young defender: “Brilliant, delighted to have him in the building. I’ve watched him both at Gillingham and Welling, he has great attributes and has a real chance in the game. Great in both boxes and can score a goal, he can play anywhere in the back line, young, hungry and a real talent.”
We thank Bryan Bull and Gillingham Football Club for facilitating Logan’s loan and hope that he has an enjoyable and rewarding time at the Yeomans Community Stadium.
