Tonbridge Angels are delighted to welcome to the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadum, Gianluca Botti, a 23-year-old striker who arrives at the club from Lewes.

Gianluca had an impressive season with Chertsey Town in 2023/24 scoring 31 goals as his club gained promotion from the Isthmian South Central Division.

At his previous club, Camberley Town, he found the net 29 times in 2022/23.

During the summer he joined Whitehawk before moving on to Lewes in November where he has scored seven times in 12 appearances.

Jay Saunders said of Luca’s signing: “He is a natural goalscorer, a good age and has scored at every level at which he has played, so I’m hoping that he can slot straight in. After losing Makise it was important that we brought a forward in and it’s a permanent signing. He has all the attributes to come in and hit the ground running and add some goals to the side.”
