Tonbridge Angels can confirm that Kodi Lyons-Foster’s contract with the club has been cancelled by mutual agreement and he will be joining Worthing with immediate effect.

Kodi joined the Angels from Aldershot Town during the summer of 2023 having joined the Hampshire club in 2019 from Braintree Town. He has made 29 appearances this season, scoring five goals despite spending over two months on the sidelines following an injury at Weymouth in October.

Kodi commented on this departure: “I want to say a massive thank-you to the Board and everyone at Tonbridge Angels who have always been welcoming especially towards my family. I’ve loved playing for the club and you guys have been brilliant with me especially whilst I was injured. Until our paths cross again …”

Jay Saunders said, “We were approached by Worthing regarding Kodi yesterday. He’s been presented with a great opportunity there and we did not want to stand in his way. He’s been great to work with and we thank him for his contribution this season.”
