Midfield duo sign for the Angels
Tommie Hession-Harris and Rhyle Ovenden join the squad. Listen to them talking with Matt Davison
Angels Boss, Steve McKimm, has strengthened his central midfield areas with the signing of Tommie Hession-Harris and Rhyle Ovenden this afternoon (20th July) immediately after the pre-season friendly against Moneyfields FC. Long term injuries to Tom Beere and Tom Parkinson had meant only Tommy Brewer and D’Sean Theobalds were available in those holding and playmaking roles.
“Rhyle and Tommie were recommended to me at the start of pre-season and they’ve done well from the outset, worked hard, bought into what we are trying to do and they absolutely deserve their chance”, said McKimm. “I welcome them both to the club.”
Tommie has had three years of playing in the USA including a spell at Toros and last season was at 3rd place Isthmian League North club Maldon & Tiptree. Rhyle was a young professional at Watford before joining Hemel Hempstead Town, Worthing and Whitehawk.
