Midweek catch up with Steve

McKimm (Havant & Waterlooville) 09.11.21.

Can Angels get closer to the Beavers

Asked about how he saw this Saturday's fixture versus Hampton & Richmond Borough Steve McKimm said : "Yes its an interesting one,  a few weeks ago we were miles behind them, now with one or two good results under our belts we are not too far behind.  That said we watched them at home against Eastbourne Borough a couple of weeks ago and although they lost they played very well so we will certainly need to be on our game."  The Beavers have in fact lost their last four league games so they will be looking to reverse that form.

Moving to availability for the Angels, Steve said:" Yes, we have three or four doubts and they will be assessed at training tonight but we could be down to the bare bones but we'll keep reviewing down to the last minute.  Luke Jenkins has returned to AFC Wimbledon and Harry Hudson is suspended."

Currently, Hampton & Richmond Borough lie in 16th position in National South having accumulated 29 points from 26 games, compared with Angels who are two places behind with 25 points from 25 games.

This Saturday's fixture at The Beveree kicks off at 3:00pm with limited parking at the ground so travel by train via Waterloo East and Waterloo is a decent alternative.   Please click here for match details including travel and tickets.
