It is one of the most eagerly anticipated dates of the close season and, at 1 o’clock this afternoon, the fixture list for National League South was published.

Jay Saunders’ Angels begin their 2024/25 campaign with an home fixture against Weymouth on Saturday, 10th August and the opener is followed a week later with our first, relatively close, away fixture against Aveley.

For those who have been waiting patiently to arrange their weekends away in the west country, hopefully late summer sunshine will still be in evidence on 26th October when we visit Langarth, the brand new home of Truro City. Torquay United is scheduled for 9th November; Weymouth, 30th November and a springtime visit to Weston-super-Mare on 12th April.

The Christmas period, the traditional double-header has been replaced with this time our old foes from up the A26 providing the opposition at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium on Boxing Day with the return fixture on Easter Monday, 21st April.

New Year’s Day will see us travel over the bridge to Hornchurch.

The regular season winds up on 26th April with a home game against Boreham Wood.
