It’s the picture every Angels fan wanted to see as Joe Turner agrees terms with Boss, Jay Saunders, for what will be a 6th consecutive season. 

Joining in August 2017 from Isthmian Premier Kingstonian, Joe has chalked up 202 appearances scoring a very impressive 59 goals - not a bad tally for a midfielder. 

Angels Manager, Jay Saunders said today: “Joe’s fine reputation on the pitch goes before him and its not just that he is a crowd pleaser with the ball at his feet but his tremendous work rate off the ball.  Always a handful for defenders, he’s so difficult to mark and always willing to help out his defence.”

Joe said this evening “ I do love this club and basically Jay has re-sold it to me. I’m excited about his plans and the way he wants to do things and I want to be part of a new era.”
