Angels past and present to turn out for long serving clubman

After 11 years at Tonbridge Angels as a player, caretaker manager, assistant manager and Academy Director, Tommy Parkinson has been granted a well deserved testimonial that will be played at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium on Saturday, 24th May, kick off 1pm.

Parky will name a team of players that have graced Longmead during his time at the club with many others forming the opposition under the Tonbridge Angels badge.

Sophie Purves, Chair, said: “We really want Angels’ fans and friends of Tommy and the club to support this great event. It’s set to be a really special, nostalgic day. All proceeds from gate receipts, sponsorship, programme sales and fundraising at the match will go to Tommy and his family. He continues to be an outstanding clubman for Tonbridge Angels and thoroughly deserves this day to celebrate his dedicated contribution to the club.”

Further names can be added to the list that was previously published and listed below and there are still more to come!

The new names are ... drum roll ...! Laurence Ball, Doug Loft, Chris Kinnear, Tom Phipp, George Beavan, Scott Wagstaff, Dan Thompson, Adem Ramadan, Adam Lovatt and Jamie Fielding. 

Previously announced: Jerrome Sobers, James Folkes, Tommy Whitnell, Lewis Gard, Jack Parter, Craig Stone, Craig Braham-Barrett, Luke Blewden, Damian Scannell, JJ O’Sullivan and Alex Teniola.

The match will be followed by live music and drinks in the Angels Marquee, where everyone is welcome.

Admission prices will be announced in due course, but importantly, make a date in your diary to support a magnificent clubman.
