Ross Bennett to step down
Exciting new role in F1 for Ross
Tonbridge Angels Football Club can today confirm that General Manager Ross Bennett will be stepping down from his role at the Club at the end of June to pursue an exciting new position in Formula 1.
Commenting on his time at the Club, Chair, Sophie Purves said, “Ross has been a real asset to Tonbridge Angels during his fifteen months here. As an Angels fan, his enthusiasm for the job has been immense and he has made a positive difference to business operations. Ross has been a pleasure to work with and everyone wishes him well for his new motorsport adventure. We look forward to welcoming Ross back to Longmead soon.”
The role of General Manager will be filled on an interim basis by David Couldridge, who is taking a sabbatical from his position on the Board in order to take on this position for an initial three month period. David will oversee the day-to-day running of the football club and will be based here at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium.
Sophie Purves added, “We would like to thank David for stepping into the General Manager position and we wish him well in this role. David has a background in administration and management in local government and more recently has worked in the banking sector. I’m sure he will bring these skills to his new position at Tonbridge Angels .”
