Sam becomes an Angel

Bromley defender makes loan move

Tonbridge Angels are pleased to welcome to the Yeomans Community Stadium, Sam German, a 20 year-old central defender, who joins, on loan until January, from Bromley.

Sam came through Bromley’s youth setup and had a loan spell at Ashford United before returning to Hayes Lane to captain Bromley Under-23’s for the 2023/24 season. He has since had further loan spells at Herne Bay, Kingstonian and, earlier this year, was with Salisbury where he played, and got an assist, against us.

Sam, having been exposed to the physical demands of senior football in the Isthmian League, is known for his tough tackling and leadership qualities, traits that have made him a standout in Bromley’s youth setup.

Tonbridge Angels manager, Alan Dunne, welcomed his new signing: “Sam has played a number of games in step two and three and was involved during pre-season with the first team. Sam is a fit lad, a very honest player and will be a good addition to our defence in the short term.”

We wish Sam every success and hope that he enjoys his time with Tonbridge Angels and thank Andy Woodman, Steve Aris and Matt Hall for facilitating the loan.
