Angels have signed Henry Burnett from Southend Utd U23s on a month’s loan as the midfielder works to get his career back on track following a series of injuries. 

Shrimpers Academy Manager Ricky Duncan speaking to the Southend Echo in November said of the 23 year old: “He’s worth it and you can see he gets on the ball and does nice little passes. He looks for a pass that can hurt people but we just have to work on his physical presence.”

Angels Boss, Steve McKimm said : “We can give him football at our level that will help Henry to experience a more physical side to the game. At the same time he can help us with his creative abilities.”
