Jonny Henly will continue to keep goal for the Angels following his agreement of terms for season 2022/23.

This will be excellent news for Angels supporters who have been witness to some incredible moments from the Scottish U19 and U21 international.  

Considered by many to be the best custodian in National South he made a huge contribution to the Angels very respectable goal difference despite their lower half of the table position in 2021/22.  Away from the league, who can forget Jonny’s amazing 90th minute save at Canvey Island that set Angels on their way to an excellent FA Trophy run.   

Joining from Hemel Hempstead Town simply on loan in March 2017 he was to sign on a more permanent basis in August of that year and of course was part of the legendary Angels squad that achieved promotion back to National South in 2019.
