Slade Girls U11's do Angels proud

Slade

Desperately unlucky in Southern Finals

Slade Primary Girls U11’s were desperately unlucky not to progress from their Southern Finals of the National League Cup at Slough Town.

The girls lost their opening match to Southend United before conceding a last kick of the match goal in a drawn game against the hosts. A final game victory by 2-0 against Torquay United wasn’t enough and they missed out by a single point.

Slough progressed to the National Finals at the expense of Southend, but Slade Primary representing Tonbridge Angels, leave the tournament with their heads held high and Sophie, Olivia, Lily, Keeva, Harriet, Malvina, Stella and Victoria can rightly be very proud of their achievement.
