We are delighted to be able to confirm that our guest for our Sportsman’s Dinner on Thursday 25th April will be none other than Liverpool goalkeeping legend Bruce Grobbelaar. Bruce made an incredible 628 1st team appearances for the Reds between 1981 and 1994 during which time he picked up six league championship medals, three FA Cup medals, three League Cup medals and one European Cup (now Champions League) medal. That’s quite a haul by anyone’s standards and at the same time managed to entertain the fans with gymnastic like agility and unflappable confidence.
